Timberwolves Trade Jimmy Butler To The 76ers

Business Insider reports that the Minnesota Timberwolves have traded disgruntled star Jimmy Butler to the Philadelphia 76ers. Robert Covington and Dario Saric are part of the package Minnesota will get in exchange. The deal has been met with surprise as the 76ers were not on Butler’s initial list of teams the four-time all-star wanted to land with. According to ESPN, Butler is still expected to sign a long-term contract with Philadelphia after the season ends.
