Here is my 87th podcast, the second to last program of my very own personal radio show called, “The Andy Morales Show”. This one focuses on the sounds of 1980’s R&B/Electro Music; my most beloved musical genre from the 1980’s decade!! Recorded on: October 28, 2017. 3. Shalamar – “Dead Giveaway (12″ Extended LP Version)” (Solar Records – 1983) (*A notable R&B/Disco group from Los Angeles, CA created by Soul Train’s host, Don Cornelius. / Featured on their 7th album, “The Look”.)
4. Rikki Patrick – “Night Moves (LP Version)” (CBS Records – 1984) (*A forgotten R&B/Electro artist from the United Kingdom. / Featured on his only LP, “Breakpoint”.)
5. The B.A.D. Band – “All I Want Is You (12″ Extended)” (Sinban Records – 1986) (*An obscure Electro-Funk group from Saginaw, MI. / One of their very last songs released in the music business.)
6. Margie Joseph – “Big Strong Man (12″ Extended LP Version)” (Cotillion / Atlantic Records – 1984) (*A lesser-known R&B/Electro song by a Gospel oriented singer from Pascagoula, MS. / Featured on her 9th LP, “Ready For The Night”.)
7. Isley Jasper Isley – “Kiss And Tell (LP Version)” (CBS Associated / Epic Records – 1984) (*An incredible R&B/Electro track performed by three members of The Isley Brothers named Ernie Isley, Chris Jasper, & Marvin Isley. / Featured on their 1st LP, “Broadway’s Closer To Sunset Blvd.”.)
8. David St. George – “24-Hour Love Affair” (Malaco Records – 1985) (*A lost Electro-Funk musician from Philadelphia, PA. / Featured on his only album, “The Voices Of Dr. Dave”.)
9. Michael Sterling – “One More Chance” (Magnum Records International / Luke Skyywalker Records – 1987) (*An underrated Electro-Funk performer from Miami, FL. / Featured on his 2nd album, “No Such Animal”.)
