U.S. employers added 528K jobs in July; Unemployment falls to 3.5%

According to the Labor Department, the unemployment rate dropped from 4% to 3.8%.

The report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed the unemployment rate remained around 4%.

The Department of Labor also reports the nation’s unemployment rate fell to 4.6%.

The service industry continues to struggle and again saw the largest declines, as many restaurants and hospitality sectors struggle amid the pandemic.

Glassdoor has released a list of the 25 highest paying U.S. companies for 2016. The list shows that employees at tech and consulting companies have the highest salaries, with tech companies taking 20 of the 25 spots on the list. Google takes number five on the list where the median base salary is around $123,300. Other tech giants such as Twitter and Facebook also made the list, as well as the ecommerce divisions of Amazon and Walmart.
