After years of complaints Australia’s government has finally admitted after an investigation that farms and factories have been exploiting unskilled workers with 417 working holiday visas.

The 417 working holiday visa has attracted more than a quarter million visitors since it began, and was intended as a cultural exchange program for backpackers and international students looking to travel to Australia or extend their visas. The working holiday visa allows individuals to stay for up to 6 months and seek employment in unskilled or low-skilled jobs such as fruit picking or meat packaging.

Unfortunately, unscrupulous corporations are taking advantage of migrant workers. Migrant workers are often paid less than minimum wage, women are often sexually harassed or assaulted, and some are solicited for sex in order to obtain a visa extension. Migrant workers are often treated differently from their Australian passport holding co-workers. Some companies provide Australian employees overnight sleeping quarters but migrant workers are often only given a pallet on the floor in a main room.

For those migrant workers who dare to complain, they’re quickly fired and their visas revoked.

The 417 visa system has been severely corrupted and needs a complete overhaul. The question is: Who’s going to tackle the issue?

NEW ORLEANS — Three Louisiana women say a new bill that puts a minimum age requirement on strip club dancers is both unconstitutional and biased.

The Times-Picayune reports that once the new law takes effect on Oct. 1, exotic dancers under the age of 21 will no longer be allowed to work in strip clubs.

The bill specifically defines strippers as “entertainers whose breasts or buttocks are exposed to view.” It appears to specifically targets females, since the definition provides a loophole for 18 to 21-year-old men to still be able to strip legally.

The three women, who all work as strippers in New Orleans and are known only as Jane Does 1, 2, and 3, are trying to overturn the law by filing a federal lawsuit against the state. They claim the bill discriminates against women and is unconstitutional because it denies their First Amendment rights to freedom of expression.

Senator Ronnie Johns, who authored the bill, says it’s strictly an anti-human-trafficking measure, though ironically, the strippers claim the new law is doing the opposite. Pimps are now recruiting the soon-to-be out of work dancers. And the ladies say that with no other choice, they may as well turn to prostitution.

In the video she basically says ‘the coffee is so good, they use plenty of milk’, then glances down at the front of her body, cough cough.

The video instantly went viral on Facebook with over 1.4 million views and has been shared over 7 thousand times since it was uploaded last Saturday. But the good times were short lived, and the wild stunt backfired with many Thai netizens are now pointing fingers at the owner. He is also facing issues with the law for uploading obscene content to the internet.

The district’s police commander said the owner admitted his wrongdoing, but didn’t know he was breaking the law and said it was just a way to promote his coffee shop.

The owner is now facing three to five years in the slammer and or a fine of 100,000 Thai baht[g].

The girls who worked there said they felt sorry for the shop owner because the shop was struggling to attract customers since it’s not located in the city, and all they wanted to do was help his business to grow.
