According to a recent lawsuit, Texas Rangers star pitcher Cole Hamels struck out trying to see the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last year despite paying over $70,000 to a London-based event promoter for VIP tickets. The former Philadelphia Phillies pitcher said he and his wife hoped to attend the 2015 New York City lingerie show and bought three VIP packages from Cornucopia Events. The suit alleges Hamels and his party got none of the perks and were even denied entry to the event. The Rangers starter is currently seeking $150,000 in damages for fraud and misrepresentation.
