A group of revelers stormed a Philadelphia gas station convenience store during the Eagles championship celebration early Monday, February 5, and now police are seeking to identify those who were inside the store.

Police released video of what they described as vandalism on Tuesday. “While inside, the suspects began taking items from the shelves, then began throwing food items and soft drinks on the floor and walls, causing a hole in the back wall of the business,” police said.

A reporter caught the melee on video, saying people were shouting “everything is free” as they looted and trashed the store.

Three people were arrested during the post-championship party, but police said to expect more arrests as officers reviewed surveillance footage, social media video and other evidence.

Hundreds of protesters marched through the streets of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Wednesday in support of Alton Sterling, the African-American man who was shot dead the day before by two Baton Rouge, Louisiana, police officers. Several protesters were also seen being taken away by police at a highway intersection. James Valles reporting (BNO News)

A man who shot and wounded a policeman at point blank range as he sat in his patrol car was inspired by Islamic State militants, police said.
Edward Archer, using a stolen gun, fired at least 11 shots at Jesse Hartnett in Philadelphia.
Despite being shot, Mr Hartnett left his vehicle and was able to return fire, striking the gunman three times.
Mr Archer was arrested within minutes and later confessed to police he did it for Islam, officers told reporters.
“He has confessed to committing this cowardly act in the name of Islam,” Police Commissioner Richard Ross said, because he believes “police defend laws that are contrary to Islam”.
The 30-year-old from Yeadon, Pennsylvania, told police he pledged allegiance to Islamic State.
But there is no evidence that he was working with anyone else, Mr Ross said.

A coroner said in a report on Wednesday, Australian police failed to respond quickly enough to the threat posed by a gunman responsible for a 16-hour siege at a Sydney cafe in 2014 in which three people including the hostage-taker were killed.
New South Wales Coroner Michael Barnes said police should have acted promptly after Monis fired a warning shot.

He cautioned that those officials should not be prejudged, and that placing them on leave was “standard practice.”
The Police Department said in its statement, also released on Wednesday,
that it had “received anonymous information regarding the incidents involving a cheerleader coach at East High School, and Denver Police child abuse detectives immediately began an investigation.”
The announcements came as a widely circulated video showed a 13-year-old girl, an incoming freshman, being forced into the position, with one leg to her front
and the other stretched behind her, even as she pleads repeatedly to “please stop” and appears to cry out in pain.
The allegations have also resulted in five officials from Denver Public Schools being placed on leave — including the principal, assistant principal
and cheerleading coach at East High School — the school system’s superintendent, Tom Boasberg, said in a statement released on Wednesday.
On June 15, Kirstin Wakefield, the mother of the girl seen the video, sent an email to the assistant principal who
was put on leave this week, asking what the administration planned to do about the incidents, according to KUSA
This is Mr. Williams’s first year coaching for East High School, according to KUSA, and this week was the first of East High’s academic year.
The Denver Police Department announced this week that it was investigating allegations
that girls at a high school cheerleading camp had been forced into a painful splits position by their coach and teammates.

An Australian coroner says police failed to act quickly enough in a Sydney cafe siege in 2014 that left three people dead.

Gunman Man Haron Monis held hostages for 16 hours before opening fire inside the cafe with a warning shot.

The New South Wales State Coroner, Michael Barnes, said:
“I conclude that after a brief period to allow officers to gather relevant information, an emergency action ought to have been initiated following Monis’ first shot at 2:03 am.

“The ten minutes that elapsed without decisive action by police was too long.

“Tori Johnson was executed in the meantime, before police had made a decision about whether to enter the cafe.”

Tori Johnson, the manager of the cafe, was among 18 hostages.

Lawyer Katrina Dawson was killed by fragments of a bullet fired by police.

Officers shot and killed the gunman, who had reportedly sworn allegiance to ISIL not long before his attack.

Elite college student drug ring, nahuli ng Philadelphia police!

Preppies gone wild: isang elite college student drug ring, busted!

Imagine ang ganitong pag-uusap:
Hi Mommy! Okay naman ang school…volleyball team? Yeah, nanalo kami last week! Yes, my grades are fine…Umm, mommy? May kailangan akong sabihin sayo…I’m in jail.

Philadelphia police are looking for suspects involved in the shootout at the Roosevelt Motor Inn on March 31. Police released surveillance footage of the incident in an effort to identify the men.

The footage shows two men in the hotel hallway being approached by another man who fired a gun at them. One of the men returned fire and fortunately, the innocent bystander isn’t struck. A hotel security guard heard the gunshots at around 12:30 a.m.

The shootout continued into another hallway with two more bystanders nearby. Several more gunshots were exchanged and again, nobody, including the shooters, was harmed. The suspects fled on foot from the hotel and police are still searching for clues.

Police say the hotel, located on the 7600 block of East Roosevelt Boulevard, has been the scene of a number of prostitution arrests.
