During a regular bus trip through the city, the bus driver took a seemingly normal turn, passing over railroad crossing and doing a U-turn onto the next street, when the momentum of the turn caused the driver to slide from her seat and send the bus drove over a concrete barrier onto exposed railroad tracks while trying to maintain control of the vehicle. Bus CCTV footage shows the bus driver falling from her seat – all because her seat belt wasn’t fastened -and losing control of the bus.

According to Business Insider, the federal government shutdown has resulted in delays at major US airports due to a shortage of air-traffic controllers at the Federal Aviation Administration. The shortages have affected travelers coming to or from Atlanta, New York City, and Philadelphia. In a statement, the FAA said there’s been an “increase” in the number of workers calling out sick at two facilities. The facilities are responsible for coordinating air traffic along much of the East Coast.

All 250 people on separate American Airlines (AAL.O) flights from Munich and Paris were “held for a medical review” as a precaution, and the U.S.

According to Business Insider, a group of Southwest Airlines passengers are suing the airline seeking unspecified damages following the emergency landing of Flight 1380 in Philadelphia. The suit was filed Tuesday in New York State Supreme Court by a group of eight passengers. The passengers claim they were faced with the “overwhelming horror of being trapped in a plane about the crash.
