By the end of the day, we’re so exhausted that any motivation to accomplish something in the evening has vanished.
But according to time management expert Laura Vanderkam, mornings hold the key to taking control of our schedules. If we use them wisely, we can build habits that will allow us to lead happier, productive lives.

Natural beauty such as beaches, tropical island resorts with coral reefs, hiking and camping in national parks, mountains and forests, are examples of traditional tourist attractions to spend summer vacations. Other examples of cultural tourist attractions include historical places, monuments, ancient temples, zoos, aquaria, museums and art galleries, botanical gardens, buildings and structures (e.g., castles, libraries, former prisons, skyscrapers, bridges), theme parks and carnivals, living history museums, ethnic enclave communities, historic trains and cultural events. Factory tours, industrial heritage, creative art and crafts workshops are the object of cultural niches like industrial tourism and creative tourism. Many tourist attractions are also landmarks.

Tourist attractions are also created to capitalise on legends such as a supposed UFO crash site near Roswell, New Mexico and the alleged Loch Ness monster sightings in Scotland. Ghost sightings also make tourist attractions.

Ethnic communities may become tourist attractions, such as Chinatowns in the United States and the black British neighbourhood of Brixton in London, England.

In the US, owners and marketers of attractions advertise tourist attractions on billboards along the side of highways and roadways, especially in remote areas. Tourist attractions often provide free promotional brochures and flyers in information centres, fast food restaurants, hotel and motel rooms or lobbies, and rest area.

While some tourist attractions provide visitors a memorable experience for a reasonable admission charge or even for free, others can have a tendency to be of low quality and to overprice their goods and services (such as admission, food, and souvenirs) in order to profit from tourists excessively. Such places are commonly known as tourist traps.

Novelty attractions are oddities such as the “biggest ball of twine” in Cawker City, Kansas, the Corn Palace in Mitchell, South Dakota, or Carhenge in Alliance, Nebraska where old cars serve in the place of stones in a replica of Stonehenge. Novelty attractions are not limited to the American Midwest, but are part of Midwestern culture.

A tourist destination is a city, town, or other area that is dependent to a significant extent on the revenues accruing from tourism, or “a country, state, region, city, or town which is marketed or markets itself as a place for tourists to visit”. It may contain one or more tourist attractions and possibly some “tourist traps.” Siem Reap town for example is a popular tourist destination in Cambodia, mainly owed to its proximity to Angkor temples.

A tropical island resorts is an island or the archipelago that also depends of tourism as their source of revenue. The Bahamas in Caribbean archipelago, Bali in Indonesia, Phuket in Thailand, Hawaii, Palawan in the Philippines, and Fiji in the Pacific, and Ibiza in Mediterranean are examples of popular island resorts.

It is the most expensive hotel in the world. It only has double suites and the actual suite costs per night. The building is built in the shape of a 321-meter high sailboat, gold walls, eight restaurants (one of them underwater), four swimming pools, a water park and rooms of up to 780 square meters. The interior decoration of the building was made by the Chinese Khuan Chew under instructions from Dubai Sheikh. It has huge amounts of Statutario marble (the same one that Miguel Angel used for his sculptures) at the reception; Carrara marble for walls and floors, precious stones of northern Italy, Arab mosaics, velvet, 8 thousand square meters of Indian gold sheets and about 30 thousand lights.

We have all felt the urge to want to get away and take a vacation once in a while. We have all wanted to spoil ourselves and go for that overpriced hotel massage or eat at that fancy restaurant that we can’t afford. If you ever get lucky and have some cash to burn, you can really go for the ultimate luxury experience at nearly hotel in the world. However, there are some very special hotels that only cater to the wealthy and many of these suites are bigger than most people’s houses. Some of these amazing hotels even include their own private butler. For example, there are two hotels in Paris, France; the Park Hyatt and Hotel George V. The Park Hyatt features and luxurious room with a steam shower, a whirlpool bath, a massage table, and a breathtaking view of the city for over $14,000 per night. Hotel George V is right in the city and shopping center of Paris, and rooms go for over $15,000 per night. The likely reason for the pricing is not just in amenities, but the prime location being just off the Champs Elysee.

In Geneva, Switzerland, Le Richemond is an amazing hotel with bullet-proof windows and incredible views of the Swiss Alps. If you want to stay in the Royal Suite, be ready to pay up $16,680 per night. The Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai stands on an artificial island and the suite comes with your own chauffeur, a Rolls Royce, plus your own helicopter. Staying at this hotel costs over $16,680 per night as well, but at least you get to enjoy some incredible and fabulous luxuries and amenities.
