The Philadelphia Inquirer reported Wednesday that the Canadian-born “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek, who became a U.S. citizen in 1998, will be using his hosting skills to moderate Pennsylvania’s 2018 gubernatorial debate, as part of the Keystone State’s Chamber of Business and Industry’s annual dinner on Oct. 1 at the Hershey Lodge in Dauphin County. Trebek will be hosting a 45-minute debate “with a dynamic, entertaining format.”

Alex Trebek will moderate an upcoming debate among 2018 gubernatorial candidates in Pennsylvania. The debate is of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry’s annual dinner Oct. 1. The ‘Jeopardy’ host will also deliver the dinner’s keynote address. Trebek is originally from Canada, but became a naturalized American citizen in 1998.
