They also say the kittens often chase and pounce on the rats’ tails which the café says is OK as long as the kittens are gentle.

Dozens of people turned up for the special event hosted by McVities and enjoyed hot drinks, luscious sweets, and comfortable seating in exchange for nothing more than cuddling one of the five kittens prowling around the venue or embracing the giant, cuddly McVities owl mascot.
