This week I’m at Philadelphia Mills, having a juicy Pepper Jack Steak wrap combo from Great Wraps Grill.
This place is proof positive that good cheesesteak doesn’t always need a roll.
I know that’s considered heresy in Philly (“If it’s not on an Amoroso’s or a Liscio’s roll, it’s not a Philly cheesesteak) – but this is a gently spicy take on the classic.
Great Wraps is a national chain that started making fresh wraps back in 1989.
As for their philosophy, I’ll let them do the talking:
“Life at Great Wraps is all about flavor.
Note: that says flavor, not fads.
We know there’s a lot of marketing power behind the latest fat-free-this
and gluten-free-that, but we’d much rather tell you what’s in our food
than what’s not. From our handmade sauces and house-prepped ingredients
to our amazing Flavor Bar and unique sides, you’ll always have
fresh, real food options.”
