According to a report by CNN, an environmental advocacy group warned that dozens of common breakfast cereals and snack bars have trace amounts of a controversial herbicide found in the weed killer Roundup. The Environmental Working Group found that 26 of the 28 products they tested contained levels of Roundup’s main ingredient, glyphosate, that were “higher than what EWG scientists consider protective of children’s health.

A Memphis house fire has taken the lives of six children and three adults, according to officials. Firefighters say when they arrived at the home, they found bars on the windows. Authorities say the fire started in the living room from an electrical cord malfunction. They claim they arrived to the scene within four minutes of receiving a call from inside but it was too late. There they found three adults and four children already dead. One child remains in critical condition at the hospital.

On Friday, Mr. Duterte showed graphic photographs on live television of a Filipino
domestic worker whose body he said had been found in a freezer in Kuwait.
Mr. Duterte said the government would bring home any workers in Kuwait who wanted to leave.

MANILA — The Philippines on Monday barred its citizens from traveling to Kuwait for employment, accusing the oil-rich Gulf state of turning a blind eye to the abuse
and even killing of domestic workers and other Filipinos.

According to reports, a man identified as 58-year-old Philip Reitnour was discovered dead in Philadelphia’s Schuylkill river. An Entrepreneur, Reitnour appeared in 2014 on “Shark Tank,” the reality TV series in which aspiring contestants make business presentations to a panel of “shark” investors. Reitnour pitched his EmergenSee app on the show, technology which enables smartphone users to provide live streams of their emergencies and locations to rescuers – but was unable to strike a deal.

A nun has been found guilty of drinking and driving. Witnesses say they watched Sister Kimberly Miller driving erratically last year in the Philadelphia area and crashed her car into a business. Police arrested the nun after failing a sobriety test. Attorneys defending Miller say the nun was driving in her sleep after taking Ambien with a glass of wine at bed time. She said she suffers from sleepwalking and has no memory of the incident.

Glee actress Becca Tobin’s boyfriend was found dead in a Philadelphia hotel room Thursday. The actress reportedly joined her nightclub owner boyfriend Matt Bendik for the business trip. The latest death comes just a year after Glee suffered a tragedy with Cory Monteith’s death last July.
