Neil Scott and Timothy Brooks are two very intelligent individuals. But, of course, ‘smart’ and ‘wise’ are not the same thing.

Scott, 25, and Brooks, 18, were students at Philadelphia’s prestigious Haverford School, but instead of inventing the next Facebook, these two preppies took their skills and put them to use as drug dealers.

The duo ran their business like a business, with layers of dealers and distributors that supplied substances to students at five schools…including high schools.

Taking a page out of Wall Street’s playbook, Scott and Brooks offered bonuses to their “executives.” They even allegedly allowed trustworthy dealers buy drugs on credit.

Finally, their empire came crashing down on them after a four-month investigation, during which cops mainly watched Scott’s apartment, which was the nexus of their operation.

Police say they found kilos of weed, a variety of other drugs, more than US$11,000 dollars in cash and several weapons, including a loaded handgun!

Both Scott and Brooks are now in the slammer and will likely have to re-evaluate their career goals.

During the offseason, LeBron James left the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Los Angeles Lakers but that doesn’t mean he can’t check in with his former team from time to time. Business Insider reports LeBron took to social media to make fun of former teammate Channing Frye making a cross-court pass to a player on the bench.

COLBERT: “People who believe that Donald Trump is an existential threat to this nation, to the experiment of democracy, to Western civilization itself, take heart,
because for their powerful rebuttal, the Democrats showed a rerun of ‘The Andy Griffith Show.’”
None of the other late shows taped after the speech,
and Jimmy Kimmel — whose show is also recorded, despite its title — had the most creative way of handling the inconvenience: He declared it a “Trump-Free Tuesday.”
Instead, he revisited the Oscars fiasco he had experienced firsthand as the show’s host on Sunday.
TRUMP: “We have placed a hiring freeze on nonmilitary and nonessential federal workers.”
COLBERT: “Nonessential federal workers — so Kellyanne Conway is out?”
TRUMP: “Tonight, as I outline the next steps we must take as a country, we must honestly acknowledge the circumstances we inherited.”
COLBERT: “Honestly, I don’t know what we inherited.
TRUMP: “With the $6 trillion, we could have rebuilt our country twice, and maybe even three times if we had people who had the ability to negotiate.”
COLBERT: “Maybe even rebuild it 10 times, if we had people who refused to pay their contractors.”
Mr. Colbert didn’t spare the Democrats’ rebuttal, either.

Reuters has reported that Former Philadelphia District Attorney R. Seth Williams was sentenced on Tuesday to five years in federal prison for taking bribes and committing fraud to maintain a lifestyle prosecutors said he could not afford. 50-year-old Williams, the first African-American elected as district attorney in Pennsylvania, had gone on trial before Judge Paul Diamond in June but entered a guilty plea to one count of bribery and resigned before the trial concluded in U.S.
