and everywhere — it hardly seemed a surprise when pitcher Luis Severino banged his right knee while standing near his locker on Friday afternoon.
For the second day in a row, the Oakland Athletics feasted on a depleted Yankees bullpen, rallying for a 7-6 victory on
the first hit of the top prospect Matt Chapman’s career — a two-run, eighth-inning single off reliever Jonathan Holder.
We’ll get it straightened out and we’ll be fine.”
The bullpen, which was used heavily against Baltimore on Sunday
and against the Angels in Anaheim on Tuesday, will get Aroldis Chapman back on Sunday from his month-long absence because of rotator cuff inflammation.
