Business Insider reports that the Minnesota Timberwolves have traded disgruntled star Jimmy Butler to the Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers accepted his resignation on Thursday, saying that his ability to run the team had been compromised following a report from The Ringer that Colangelo was connected to multiple anonymous Twitter accounts that criticized current and former 76ers players. The team had hired an independent firm to conduct an investigation into Colangelo and the accounts.
