Sanders Supporters Defy Heat in Philadelphia

On Monday afternoon, Philadelphia’s Broad Street saw tens of thousands of Bernie Sanders supporters and other demonstrators march down it. The march comes just ahead of the opening of the Democratic convention. The Sanders supporters are chanting “Nominate Sanders or lose in November!” and “Hey, hey, ho, ho, the DNC has got to go!” The crowd stands at tens of thousands and the temps went up, so did the numbers of demonstrators.
