Philadelphia’s ‘Rocky’ Statue to Undergo Repairs

According to a report on Tuesday, the area around the iconic ‘Rocky’ statue in the city of Philadelphia will close for two weeks to undergo repairs. The statue and the “Rocky steps” nearby are often said to be two of the most popular attractions in the “City of Brotherly Love.” According to Philadelphia’s parks and recreation department, repairs on the statue include replacing paving and perimeter protection.
