As if a month long trip to Europe wasn’t already cool enough, one Philadelphia native decided to spice her adventure up in a very unique way.
Devon Gallagher had her leg amputated when she was four years old due to congenital bone disease, but that hasn’t stopped her from chasing her dreams.
In 2016 she graduated college from Lehigh University and this year she took a journey through Europe.
She decided to document her journey on her prosthetic leg using special paint in bright colors.
She wrote down the name of each location she explored on her leg and posed in a picture capturing the city behind her.
She visited Vienna, Prague, Barcelona, Athens, Santorini, Dublin, Paris, Copenhagen, Budapest, the Cliffs of Moher, Amsderdam, Munich, Stockholm and Brussels.
Gallagher wasted no time on her adventure and has those memories that will last a lifetime.
So even when you come across a challenge in life, just know there is always a way to overcome it.
