The Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles will not make their scheduled visit to the White House on Tuesday, according to a statement released by President Trump Monday night. Sports Illustrated legal analyst Michael McCann spoke to CBSN about the disinvitation as well as the new invitation the Eagles received from Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pennsylvania, to tour the Capitol.

Trump Cancels White House Visit for Philadelphia Eagles The POTUS issued a statement on Monday, canceling the event for the Super Bowl LII champions, citing the controversy from the NFL kneeling protests during the national anthem. “The Philadelphia Eagles are unable to come to the White House with their full team to be celebrated tomorrow.” “They disagree with their President because he insists that they proudly stand for the National Anthem, hand on heart…” “…in honor of the great men and women of our military and the people of our country.” Many of the Eagles’ players previously made statements about refusing to attend the ceremony, which is slated for Tuesday. Trump will still be at the ceremony at 3 p.m. local time to “celebrate America” with Eagles’ fans. Trump’s decision follows an NFL mandate last month that players who refuse to stand for the national anthem must retreat to the locker rooms.

We had 3 days in Milan so we hit the ground running and tried to see and do as much as possible. We made time for major attrions like Il Duomo, Sforza Castle, and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, but we also veered away from the crowds in search of street art and interesting neighborhoods. This being Italy, we also tried to prioritize meals, sampling everything from pizza to risotto, and cappuccinos to aperitivos. The following travel guide will highlight 20 things to do when you visit Milan, Italy\r

Our trip to Milan, Lombardy was part of the Blogville project where we stayed in a local apartment and experienced all of the best cultural ivities, museums, restaurants, arts and entertainment the city has to offer. This city guide is our best attempt to create a mix of best attrions and off-the-beaten-path ivities that you wont necessarily find in a typical Milan tourism brochure.\r

20 Things to do in Milan Italy Travel Guide Video Transcript:\r
\r
Our first stop was Il Duomo, which is the most recognized attrion in the city. The cathedral took nearly six centuries to complete.\r
\r
So weve sat down at a little cafe and were going to have our first Italian breakfast with cappuccino and sweet pastries.\r
\r
Something that surprised us about Milan is that there is a castle right in the middle of the city. Sforza Castle was built in the 15th century by the Duke of Milan, and it then underwent several restorations and expansions in the following centuries. Today it houses several of the citys most prized art possessions, including frescoes by Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelos very last sculpture.\r
\r
For some upscale designer shopping, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is the place to be.\r
\r
So we just found a local little restaurant and were going to be trying a traditional dish that is very popular in this city and in the Lombardy region. We are going to have Risotto alla Milanese.\r
\r
The Colonne di San Lorenzo are the remains of Roman ruins that date back to the 2nd century. They are believed to have been part of a bath house.\r
\r
Another fun ivity to try in Milan is a boat tour of the canals. The citys canals are attributed to Leonardo Da Vinci, who in 1482 was called over by the Duke of Milan to help renovate the citys canal system.\r
\r
Milans Navigli District is one of the liveliest parts of town especially when the sun goes down for dining al fresco. \r
\r
So weve gone out for our first Italian Aperitivo. Which is kind of like a pre-dinner drinking tradition. Basically, you get yourself a cocktail for about 10 Euros and that gives you access to this massive buffet.\r
\r
And thats all for our visit to Milan. We hope this video will give you some cool ideas of sights and attrions to check out.\r

For Audreys birthday we took a day trip from Madrid to Toledo where we visited the Alcázar de Toledo and ate a three course Spanish lunch.\r

Visiting Toledo, Spain on Audreys Birthday Travel Video Transcript:\r
\r
Well Hello, \r
\r
So today is July 23rd. Which means it is my birthday! So Sam and I are going to take a little day trip. Weve been staying in Madrid but Toledo is only thirty minutes away by train. So were going to head out and have some birthday adventures in a new city.\r
\r
Weve arrived and it is a beautiful train station. Time to get the birthday girl some lunch. Yes.\r
\r
So we decided to walk into the city which was maybe a mistake considering it is almost forty degrees out. We should have just grabbed a taxi but at least they have these escalators that help you reach the summit of the center of the old town I guess. So yeah, it is nice being in the shade and not having to climb stairs.\r
\r
It is kind of funny because just outside of the escalators are these old ruins. So you have something very modern and then you have the ruins right beside it. Yeah, quite the contrast.\r
\r
So we made it to the top. And this is our reward. Check out these views.\r
\r
Birthday girl, what is your starter? Alright, so we found a nice little restaurant and Ive ordered Gazpacho which is a cold tomato soup with onions, peppers and cucumbers. But you cant see any of that because it looks like theyve just liquefied it and turned it into a bit of a cream. But lets try it.\r
\r
Mmmmm.\r
\r
Refreshing? That is so refreshing on a day like today. And it is a little bit tart and tangy which I really like.\r
\r
I could drink this out of a glass it is so good.\r
\r
And what is your entree? Im trying something Ive never tried before. It is called Migas de Pastor. And if you look down here it has got meat, it has got some kind of breadcrumbs here and it also has veggies. I think these maybe peppers. Lets take a bite with the meat and the breadcrumbs. How is it? Its really good. I think that is a piece of like chorizo meat. Nice! Spicy!\r
\r
And what does the birthday gal have?\r
\r
So Im having a type of Tortilla which is basically potatoes and egg. Kind of like an omelette style meal. This also has ham in it. And Ive got some pork right underneath. Theyve soaked it in ketchup which Im not a huge fan of. But it is alright. I ually had this for breakfast today and that was a little bit better.\r
\r
So I see your main dish has arrived. You know what, this is ually my favorite Spanish dish that Ive tried since Ive been to Spain. It is called Paella. Take a look down here. Were going to be doing a bit more of a dedicated video to this soon but for now you can basically know that it is a mixed type of rice with seafood and vegetables. Alright, lets take a bite of that.\r
\r
And over here in Spain wine is like water. I had a choice between water and wine so I got my own bottle. I think I made the right decision.\r
\r
Arent you glad we got about a thirty minute break in between our main course and dessert? What do you have? I am having flan. And I dont really know how to describe this dessert except to say that it is popular in South America and in Spain. And your Mom makes a really good flan. Yes, and the brown stuff you see it is kind of like caramelized sugar but I really cant explain the dessert itself because I have no idea what it is made with even though Ive eaten it my whole life.\r
\r
So we are now visiting the Alcázar, which is the one building that dominates the city skyline. And they also have a really cool military museum. And normally I wouldnt be into that but because it is so hot outside it has ually been really nice being indoors with AC. Just learning a bit of the history by force.\r
\r
Im beginning to realize that Spain is more of a winter destination. All weve been doing since weve come here is sweating like pigs.\r
\r
So we are hiding indoors again. We found a little corner store with lots of fans and Popsicles. So trying to cool down here people.\r
\r
So I think that is about all we can handle for today. So cooling off yet again with ice cream cones this time. And now were going to head back to the train station and try to get back to Madrid a little bit earlier than planned.\r
