होटल में पूरे वर्ष में अलग अलग तरह के कई सारे लोग ठहरने आते है जिसमें से एक मैं भी हूं इस तरह की चीजों का इस्तेमाल कमरे में अलग-अलग लोग कर सकते हैं। कुछ सामान जैसे टीवी रिमोट या टेलीफोन को कभी भी ठीक से साफ़ नहीं किया जाता है और कुछ वस्तुओं को तो एक महीने तक साफ़ नहीं किया जाता है जिससे कि बीमारी और आक्रमण फैलने की संभावना रहती है।
जब आप कभी भी एक होटल बुक करते हैं, तो आप पहली बार जब कमरे में प्रवेश करते हैं, तो आपकी पहली नजर कमरे के बिस्तर पर पड़ती है लेकिन आपको बता दूं कि कई होटल, बेड शीट और पिलो कवर को कई दिनों तक साफ नहीं करते है।
और महीनों तक कंबल को भी साफ नहीं करते है अगर आप होटल इस्टाफ से इन्हें बदलने को कहते हैं तो वे दुसरे कमरे में रखे पुराने रजाई चादर लाकर बिछा देते हैं।
आपको लगता हैं कि आपके लिए ख़ास साफ़ सुथरे रजाई चादर आए हैं लेकिन असल में वो अन्य कमरे के गंदे रजाई चादर ही होते हैं। और इसलिए जब भी आपको होटल के कमरे में रहना हो तो, होटल इस्टाफ से कमरे की ऐसी चीजों को साफ करने के लिए बोले
एक होटल इस्टाफ से मुझे पता चला है कि कुछ होटलों में पीने के पानी के लिए जो गिलास दिए जाते हैं उन्हें कई दिनों तक साफ नहीं किया जाता है और हो सकता है की वो गिलास किसी गम्भीर रोगो से पीड़ित विक्ति द्वारा इस्तेमाल किया गया हो।
हाउसकीपर इन गिलास को कभी कभी बिना डिटर्जेंट के साफ करता है। इसलिए अगर आप किसी होटल में रुकते हैं तो प्लास्टिक के गिलास या अपना पर्सनल बोतल लें और पानी पिएं
कुछ होटल के कमरे में तो खुफिया कैमरा भी लगा होता है अगर आप होटल में रुक रहे है तो रुकने से पहले अच्छी तरह कमरे की जांच कर ले की कही किसी कोने में ख़ुफ़िया कैमरा तो नहीं लगा है।
