Thousands of Philadelphia Eagles fans took to the streets of Philadelphia to celebrate their Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots.
This video shared by an eyewitness shows Eagles fans scaling the gates of Philadelphia City Hall on Sunday, February 4. One fan can be seen holding a beer keg while he climbs. The crowd below can be heard cheering enthusiastically.
Police had put hydraulic fluid on lampposts and signposts in a bid to deter people from climbing them, according to local reports.
The celebrations broke out after the Eagles clinched a decisive 41-33 win at the U.S Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
