Can you hear me now? Tourists and locals walking the teeming streets of China’s Chengdu have access to special treat – getting their ear canals cleaned by professional earwax removal masters. These skilled hygiene professionals insert up to eight specialized tools, which are essentially long, thin metal sticks with different endings, inside of their client’s ear and remove unnecessary ear wax and, well, anything else that might be lodged in there.
